Terms & conditions of sale
Our services
Caliandre designs and organises tailor-made stays on the Côte d’Azur and beyond: villa rentals, yacht charters, private chefs, premium transfers and reservations. Each service is subject to availability and is set out in a written proposal.
Booking and payment
The price is payable upon receipt of the invoice. A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received. Until payment is received, the availability of services cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellation and changes
Any cancellation or change must be notified in writing. The cancellation and change conditions specific to each service (accommodation, boat, transfer, chef, etc.) are those set by the provider concerned. They are communicated to the client in the proposal, before any confirmation, and apply as of right.
For package holidays, the client may cancel free of charge in the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occurring at the destination and significantly affecting the stay (Article L. 211-14 of the French Tourism Code).
The right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation, transport and leisure services provided on a specific date (Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code).
We strongly recommend taking out cancellation insurance.
Client responsibilities
The client is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided when booking, and for complying with the administrative and health formalities (identity documents, visas) required for the trip.
Caliandre’s liability
When Caliandre sells a package holiday or linked travel arrangements, it is responsible for their proper performance under the conditions set out in Articles L. 211-16 et seq. of the French Tourism Code. It may be released from all or part of its liability by proving that the damage is attributable to the traveller, to a third party unconnected with the provision of the travel services, or to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.
When Caliandre books a stand-alone service on the client’s behalf, that service is performed under the responsibility of the provider concerned, according to its own conditions, which are communicated in the proposal.
Complaints
Any complaint must be sent in writing to info@caliandre.com, as soon as possible, and if possible during the stay so that a quick solution can be found.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the client is invited to seek an amicable solution with Caliandre. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent court under ordinary rules.
